Introduction
This project aims to study pragmatic markers (PMs) in interpreted political speeches from Chinese to English. Apart from resulting in a number of journal articles and conference papers on this topic, the project was later extended to a Digital Scholarship project, a deliverable of which is an online open access corpus, the Chinese/English Political Interpreting Corpus (https://digital.lib.hkbu.edu.hk/cepic/index.php).
