Introduction:

  • The project aims at compiling a latest and authoritative edition of bronze inscriptions on important vessels of the Western Zhou Dynasty, which will be a useful reference book and lay an important foundation for further studies in difference disciplines of that period of history. 

    The book series is designed to include introduction and analysis of one or more relevant vessels in each book, to publish once a year or more frequently if more manuscripts become completed, to ensure latest research findings can be beneficial to the academia.

    The project studies bronze inscriptions on important vessels of the Western Zhou Dynasty, including different periods. It is geared to compilation of a professional, up-to-date and comprehensive book series of bronze inscriptions, including images, background introduction, latest research findings, annotations, comments, references and etc.
